About the position

As a Channel Sales Manager at NTT Security Holdings you will play a critical role in establishing and developing our new channel program and business, promoting our unique and accomplished Samurai Managed Detection and Response service. The responsibilities will include signing up new partners outside the NTT group companies. You will enable sales, develop strategic relationships and market plans to grow this new and important area. You will work closely with the partners both as a trusted advisor and by providing the storytelling and technical guidance to drive sales success.

You will identify and evaluate new potential partners while managing existing partner relationships to drive incremental revenue. You will be leading the overall communication between partners and NTT Security Holdings and drive product marketing, develop demand generation activities and shared market plans.

As a Channel Sales Manager at NTT Security Holdings, you will have the opportunity to help partners solve complex problems for their clients through our Samurai Managed Detection and Response platfrom. . You will enable your partners to efficiently serve their clients in pure IT security and in hybrid IT and OT security challenges. Your responsibilities in short:

  • Identify, evaluate, sign-up and grow our global community of Samurai MDR resell partners
  • Manage the growing base of partners, driving incremental revenue, developing solution competence and enable program compliance
  • Design, propose, implement and execute enablement and promotional programs to drive sales success
  • Driving product marketing, and demand generation activities with partners to accompany products/solutions on partner’s website, seminars and tradeshows
  • Proactively communicate with channel partners on pipeline and forecasts
  • Manage Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Monitor, assess and report on a continual basis on the security vendor competitive situation within the channel partners in the region
  • Represent the company channel in region and evangelize our mission and purpose both internally and externalDaily objectives should include the following:

  • Show a strong ability to seek and ingest the necessary information from our internal experts and written material available to you
  • Show a strong ability to gain business and market intelligence to form the base of developing strategies relevant to the market and competitive situation.
  • Be a strong team player and contribute to the success of the entire sales team with subject matter knowledge and experience
  • To have the ability to think outside the box and continuously identify and suggest iterations in the interface between our services, the channel partner and their clients
  • Be proficient in evolving pricing models, incentives and be able to personally or as part of a team engage in mandated negotiations
  • Be able to show excellent results from former positions and present one or more personal references, preferably by a former manager with close knowledge about you

Your background

We believe that the right candidate is highly merited and has several years of experience in a de facto channel sales role with a technical approach. You will be able to demonstrate your previous success and financial results. You have a broad knowledge of the cybersecurity market and a deep understanding of various security solutions with a strong emphasis on the provision of Managed Security Services. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, a can-do attitude with a focus on client outcomes and a passion for learning about new areas in cybersecurity are essential for success in this role.

You will be able to see and understand the whole value chain with roles and responsibilities from our service production represented by our SOC and DFIR environments through your partner relations and agreements and the end client. You will be able to observe and define challenges and possibilities in all aspects of the Channel Sales Manager role.

To be considered, you should have technical understanding of cybersecurity platforms and services, experience working with sales in a technical industry, and a good understanding of the client buying journey.

You should also have a working understanding of security tools such as EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR, MDR, and XDR
