About the position

Working with Direct Sales you will primarily engage and promote NTT Security Holdings MDR (Managed Detection and Response) service to clients and prospects in the Nordic region. Most of your time will be spent meeting clients and prospects helping them on their Cyber Security Journey. Main focus is to engage in and find new clients to drive further growth in the Nordic region but you will also, from time to time, engage with NTT Security Holdings installed base of clients. After a successful client buying journey, our Client Success function will take the lead from onboarding to renewal.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Position our MDR offering and associated consultancy services to prospects/clients
  • Providing technical guidance to clients by providing advice on how to secure their IT and OT environments
  • Lead our sales efforts throughout the sales cycle with support from Sales Engineers, engaging with and supporting prospects throughout their buying journey
  • Identifying potential prospect/clients (together with Marketing) and contacting them to determine their needs and interest in purchasing cybersecurity services
  • Engange in the process of supporting the education of prospects, building awareness and nurturing via our Digital Sales Rooms setup.
  • Work closely with the marketing organization and Inside Sales in respect of qualified leads
  • Developing proposals that clearly outline the scope of work, timeline, costs, deliverables and other key details

Daily objectives should include the following:

  • Show a strong ability to seek and ingest the necessary information from our internal experts and written material available to you
  • Show a strong ability to gain business and market intelligence to form the base of developing strategies relevant to the market and competitive situation.
  • Be a strong team player and contribute to the success of the entire sales team with subject matter knowledge and experience
  • To have the ability to think outside the box and continuously identify and suggest iterations in the interface between our services, service delivery the channel partner and their clients
  • Be proficient in evolving price pricing models, incentives and be able to personally or as part of a team engage in mandated negotiations
  • Be able to show excellent results from former positions and present one or more personal references, preferably by a former managerial role manager with close knowledge to about you.

Your background

We are looking for an ambitious and technical individual with an organized approach and the ability to win business with prospects/clients. You most likely have several years’ experience working in a sales role with a technical approach. You have a can-do attitude with focus on client outcome. You have a great knowledge of the security market and a good understanding of different solutions within cybersecurity.

  • Great communication skills, written and face-to-face
  • Expert in following up qualified leads to closure
  • Good understanding of client / prospect buying journey
  • Excellent English and Swedish proficiency, spoken and written
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with peers and clients
  • Deep technical skills, preferably from cybersecurity related to solutions, technology and architecture. You have technical skills to explain complex topics to your clients and help you find solutions to their technical problems
  • Experience in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Communication skills: you must be able to communicate effectively with your clients. This means you must be able to explain complex cybersecurity topics in a way that your clients can understand. You must also be able to listen to your clients’ needs and explain the benefits of your company’s cybersecurity solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills: As a cybersecurity salesperson, you may be responsible for identifying potential cybersecurity threats and proposing solutions to mitigate them. Problem-solving skills can help you identify potential cybersecurity threats and develop solutions to protect a company’s data
  • Passion for learning new areas within cybersecurity
  • You are expected to have [T(1] experience with security tools such as EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), IDS/IPS, SIEM´s, SOAR, MDR, XDR (extended Detection and Response)
