About the role

As Marketplace Manager, you will play an important part in developing J. Lindeberg’s marketplace business. The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the marketplace strategy is being followed and raise awareness of any improvements or adjustments that is needed to reach the commercial objectives.

The primary focus for the Marketplace Manager is to ensure that the daily business and operational tasks are running smoothly. Securing scalable and effective processes internally, and finding improved ways of working, will therefore be key to succeeding in this role.

You will be working in a cross-functional role with different internal stakeholders (such as assortment, visual merchandisers, performance marketing specialists, and more) that will support in their different areas connected to marketplace business areas. Educating internal parties and explaining complex marketplace topics in easy words – and clarify why – will play a crucial part, whereas strong communication skills are therefore beneficial.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving sales and working towards commercial goals
  • Actively publish, merchandise, and unpublish product to optimize performance and profit
  • Ensuring that initiatives are “brand right” in line with brand positioning
  • Analyze data and results, and taking actions accordingly, to drive business growth and profitability long term through data-driven decisions
  • Troubleshooting and solving discrepancies through marketplace integrator
  • Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Finding operational improvement areas to increase effectiveness, creating cross-functional processes internally to make ground for a scalable way-of-working
  • Completing templates, or other data sheets that is required by marketplaces

Your background

To be successful in this role we expect you to have several years of experience within Marketplaces, preferably on an international level. We think that the winning candidate is a data driven individual who thrives in a role with a lot of responsibility and ownership.

Education and previous experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with marketplaces for Fashion mono-brands
  • Experience from working with Zalando is a must, other premium marketplaces such as Farfetch is a plus and/or Asian marketplaces
  • Result-driven and motivated by getting things done
  • Technically skilled with experience from working with different IT systems and solutions, including marketplace integrator(s) and PIM systems
  • Used to a cross-functional way of working
  • Previous experience from working with marketplace advertising is considered as a plus
  • English is a must, any other language is a plus
