We are dedicated to providing great online shopping experiences and are on the lookout for a SEO & Content Manager to join us on this journey for our two Nordic marketplaces: CDON and Fyndiq.

About the role

As the SEO & Content Manager for both CDON & Fyndiq in all Nordic markets you will have the main responsibility for the operative execution. The successful candidate will manage Content and SEO to their substantial product portfolio, exceeding 15 million products per marketplace. Our ideal candidate is passionately dedicated to SEO, content, and site optimisation, with a keen understanding of customer experience. You should also bring creative flair and confidence in suggesting innovative ideas.

Joining the Performance Marketing team, your role demands independence and strong prioritisation skills to manage a diverse workload. Given the dynamic e-commerce landscape, your ability to anticipate market shifts and adapt strategies will be crucial to our ongoing success. Working closely with category managers, you will contribute to creating relevant and engaging content. Daily follow-ups will gauge performance, utilising data-driven insights for continual improvement.

You’ll be responsible for collaborating execution with external agencies. Actively exploring opportunities for AI-generated content, you’ll ensure its ongoing relevance. Your role involves dynamic engagement, keeping our platform at the forefront of SEO and content optimisation practices.

Responsibilities includes

  • Internal ownership for SEO execution, towards eight websites
  • Every day, closely tracking SEO performance and rolling out enhancements
  • Overseeing and fine-tuning technical SEO in partnership with external agencies
  • Collaborating with assortment managers to craft engaging content that is both SEO-friendly and resonates with user behaviors
  • Taking the lead in driving and executing content strategies, integrating copywriting expertise for compelling and effective content creation
  • Leverage AI-generated content to explore innovative possibilities for enhanced user experience and relevance
  • Sharing insights and learnings with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Relevant education or equivalent qualifications – SEO-specialist, Content Manager
  • Proven experience in working with SEO and content management within the e-commerce industry
  • Previous success in optimising SEO for large product portfolios, multiple sites, and markets
  • Data-driven mindset and the analytical ability to enhance SEO and content using performance data
  • Experience in SEO strategy and technical implementation collaborating effectively with other stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable about AI-generated content and its website integration
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity for content development
  • Can switch between planning and detail-focused execution and validation in a fast-moving environment
  • Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset, yet a team player who enjoys collaboration across stakeholders
  • Good project management skills are necessary to succeed in this role
