We are dedicated to providing great online shopping experiences and are on the lookout for a Web analyst to join us on this journey for our two Nordic marketplaces: CDON and Fyndiq.

About the role

As a Web Analyst at CDON Group, you will play a critical role in our growth team by owning and managing key analytics areas including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Web traffic and potentially more. This position is heavily analytical and also requires technical expertise to implement and optimise tracking and behavioural analysis on the website. Your insights will be central to driving changes that improve user experience and conversion rates on our sites. The role aims to translate complex findings into actionable insights, optimising online creative content and products, and maintaining architecture compliance to enhance the platform’s stability and user experience.

Responsibilities includes

  • Proactively conduct behavioural analyses and deliver recommendations based on website usage to improve conversion and customer experience
  • Own and manage GA4, including the implementation of tracking changes and updates through Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Technical management and configuration of GA4, including script changes and technical setup
  • Monitor of traffic and site behaviour to identify potential issues and take action on deviations
  • General analytical support in the organisation including traffic, site, conversion, sales and much more
  • Work closely with the UX team to incorporate user insights into web design and functionality
  • Support the integration and optimisation of sales channels in collaboration with Category Sales and Growth Teams
  • Cross functional collaborations with the CRO-team
  • Contribute to the backend migration project for cohesive use of GA4 features on the new platform.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Proven senior experience as an owner and manager of GA4
  • Strong technical background in web analytics and tools such as GA and GTM
  • Ability to analyze behavioral data and draw strategic conclusions for website improvements
  • Competence to implement technical changes and updates within GA.
  • A pronounced interest in user experience (UX) and ability to work with end-to-end solutions
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Statistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is commonly preferred for Web Analyst roles
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and writtenThe ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data, work independently and proactively.
